The assault resulted in the partial shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the T3 car park.

Two more people are now in custody related to a theft at Heathrow Airport where 21 people sustained injuries by a substance believed to be pepper spray, according to police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area on suspicion of robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals are still being held, the force said.

The arrests come after a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was one of the injured in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.

Officers detained a man in his thirties on suspicion of theft and assault near the scene. He was subsequently released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Authorities were called at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of people hurt by a noxious substance believed to be pepper spray.

The assault - which police said was isolated and not considered terrorism - caused delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
